[C2] whatever is per se one thing and is truly extended is truly and really quantified;

[C3] whatever is in place circumscriptively is quantified, because every such is whole in the whole and part in the part;

[C4] whatever is quantified is in place circumscriptively, if a place surrounds it.

Drawing these together, Ockham makes a further consequence explicit:

[T30] material substance, its essential parts matter and form, can be quantified through their own intrinsic parts.14
